Terrorists Attack Security Forces Post in Balochistan, Two Soldiers Martyred
In a tragic incident, two soldiers lost their lives during a shootout with terrorists at a security forces post in Singwan, a bordering region with Iran in Balochistan. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed the incident.
According to a statement issued by the military's media wing, a group of terrorists launched an attack on the security forces' post. However, due to the alertness of the deployed troops, the terrorists were repelled.
A fierce exchange of gunfire ensued as the soldiers bravely fought back, utilizing all available weapons at their disposal.
The statement mentioned the names of the martyred soldiers, Sepoy Hasnain Ishtiaq, 34, and Sepoy Inayat Ullah, 27, who displayed immense courage while combating the terrorists. Sepoy Ishtiaq hailed from the district of Dera Ghazi Khan, while Sepoy Inayat was a resident of Jhal Magsi district.
Following the attack, a sanitization operation was launched in the area, and cooperation with Iranian authorities was sought to prevent any escape routes for the terrorists.
The ISPR emphasized that the Security Forces, in solidarity with the nation, remain resolute in their determination to thwart attempts to disrupt peace and stability along the borders in Balochistan.
In a separate operation conducted in South Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, security forces successfully neutralized two terrorists. The ISPR stated that the operation was intelligence-based, targeting the general area of Dossali after receiving credible information about the presence of terrorists.
During the operation, a fierce exchange of gunfire occurred between security forces and the terrorists, resulting in the elimination of both individuals. The security forces also seized a significant amount of weapons and ammunition from the terrorists.
The ISPR revealed that the terrorists had been actively involved in activities against security forces and were responsible for the killing of innocent citizens.
Efforts to sanitize the area are currently underway to ensure the complete elimination of any remaining terrorists.
Local residents expressed their appreciation for the operation and pledged their full support in the ongoing fight against terrorism.
